The Ford Lightning has incredible acceleration achieving 0 to 60 in under four seconds however when hitting bumps are taking corners it’s still very much feels like a full-size truck.
Inside the full-size cab you could easily fit five adults or in our case two adults two kids and plenty of room in between
With the best frunk in the business and a standard size truck bed there is ample space for all of your items
The thing I was most surprised about with the Ford lightning was how good the materials were and cabin noise was.
While expensive, the Ford lightning fits nicely into the price bracket along with other high-end trucks. There could be some cheaper options down the road as well but of course they wouldn’t be nearly as nice.
Relying mostly on Electrify America for charging at work is acceptable for road trips but not the best out there
Clocking in at over 300 miles of range the Ford lightning is very capable with the exception of the rains you lose when towing.
Tapping out at 170 kW the Ford lightning needs to be able to charge faster. For your overnight charging needs it will be fine but with the larger battery pack on a road trip the slower speed could be a challenge
With two massive screens and support for things like Apple CarPlay we have some of the best interior interfaces available
