- Rear seat headroom could be better
Quick off the line but shortly after the fun ends. The EV6 will definitely get you the ability to pass in front of other cars when needed but you're not likely to win many races.
Good seating overall but the headroom in the back can be challenging. If you have 3 kids that need car seats you'll need to look elsewhere.
Decent storage overall with a large hatch but the missing frunk and 60/40 split of seats vs 40/20/40 is disappointing.
Kia has come a long way in this category. They make some of the best interiors on the market outside of true luxury brands. With the right trim level you'll feel like you're driving a highly crafted German car for the price of, well, a Kia.
The EV6 is a great value for the price. The fact you can find a car that is 80% as good as a Tesla Model Y for around 20K cheaper is amazing. Great value overall.

The EV6 has a CCS fast charging port which means you can use all charging networks in the US except Tesla (currently). While the stations are plentiful the number of stalls at them and the reliability of the stalls aren't perfect. This will improve over time and still 90% or more of your charging is likely to happen at home so unless you don't have a place to at home you'll be fine.
The top range here is really impressive for the price, definitely enough for your daily driving needs.
In our testing the EV6 held a 200kW+ charging speed well above 50% state of charge which is as good as it gets in this price category.
The tech in the EV6 is impressive. With multiple screens, a dynamic touchbar that switches between car functions and climate, plus add-on features like a Heads-up Display make the EV6 one of the best tech-oriented interiors we've seen. The EV6 also supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play which is great, except for some reason it only works when hardwired.
